Android TV boxes (Xiaomi Mi Box, NVIDIA Shield, Mecool, X96, H96…) are the most flexible IPTV devices available. They run the full Android OS, giving you access to the best IPTV players like TiviMate, IPTV Smarters Pro, and more.
What You Need
- Android TV Box (any model running Android 5.0+)
- Internet connection — Ethernet strongly recommended for 4K
- Your GIGA IPTV credentials (M3U URL or Xtream Codes — sent by email)
Method 1: TiviMate (Best Android IPTV Player)
- On your Android Box, open the Google Play Store.
- Search for "TiviMate IPTV Player" and install it.
- Open TiviMate and tap Add Playlist.
- Select your connection type:
- M3U URL: paste your GIGA IPTV M3U link directly.
- Xtream Codes API: enter the server URL, username, and password from your email.
- TiviMate will download your full channel list and EPG. Wait 1–2 minutes.
- Channels are sorted by category. Use the left sidebar to browse sports, movies, news, and more.
💡 Tip: TiviMate's free version works well, but the Premium version (€4.99/year) adds multi-screen, recordings, and parental controls. Highly recommended for heavy users.
Method 2: IPTV Smarters Pro (Free Alternative)
- Open Google Play Store and search for "IPTV Smarters Pro".
- Install and open the app.
- Tap Add User and choose your login method (M3U URL or Xtream Codes).
- Enter your GIGA IPTV credentials and tap Add User.
- All channels, VOD, and series will be imported and organized automatically.
Installing via APK (If not on Play Store)
Some older Android boxes don't have the Play Store. You can sideload apps using APK files:
- Go to Settings → Security and enable Unknown Sources.
- Download the APK file for TiviMate or IPTV Smarters using a browser on the box.
- Open the downloaded APK file to install it.
- Follow the setup steps above once installed.

Troubleshooting
- Channels not loading? Check your M3U URL or Xtream Codes credentials — copy from the email, don't retype.
- Buffering on 4K? Use a wired Ethernet connection. Disable other devices using bandwidth on your network.
- App not in Play Store? Sideload via APK (see steps above).
- EPG not showing? In TiviMate go to Settings → Playlist → EPG URL and paste the EPG link from your email.
- Black screen on some channels? Try switching the video decoder in TiviMate: Settings → Player → Hardware Decoder.
